This is live-in caretaker job, a suite is provided on site.
Cantonese and Mandarin languages are beneficial.
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday
Main Duties:
Perform daily inspections of the property (interior/exterior)
Perform regular maintenance and repairs
Assist the building manager
Assist residents on inquiries and concerns
Meet trades and contractors and coordinate projects in the building
Conduct administrative and clerical responsibilities
Report building issues and incidents in writing
Program enter-phone codes and fobs
Respond to residents’ queries & requests with professionalism
Respond to emergencies
Facilitate move-ins /move-outs
Monitor fire panel
Post notices, issue letters and enforce rules
Assist First Respondents and execution of emergency protocol if needed
Perform monthly security inspections (Generators, Fire Alarm, and others) as required
Daily inspection of the parkade and monitor illegal parking
Communicate promptly and professionally via e-mail and phone
The Manager must be available to respond to 24/7 emergencies
Key Requirements:
Building Manager experience is an asset
Must have professional, excellent written and spoken communication in English, spoken Cantonese and Mandarin are beneficial.
Demonstrate good judgment in problem-solving and conflict resolution
Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Internet, Email and Messaging proficiency)
Knowledge of operational work of a Rental Building
Powerwashing, snow shoveling/salting required
Must pass reference and criminal record check
