Job Overview
Logistics Associate will efficiently work closely with the department and coordinate the storage, transportation, and delivery of our stock from arrival into port to consumer dispatch. We are looking for a competent Logistics Associate to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations, coordinating all key stakeholders and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods including the completion of incoming shipments and preparation of outgoing shipments. They will also be required to review shipment documentation such as invoices and packing lists and maintaining the inventory of supplies.
The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
- Collaborate with other departments e.g Marketing team to ensure optimal long and short term supply plans are in place
- Be the first point of contact to handle operational issues associated with demand and supply volatility in warehouse and stores including- but not limited to supply constraints, production, transportation issues, compliance issues or unexpected demand
- Ensure premises, assets, and communication methods are used effectively
- Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
- Raise POs and liaise with HQ regarding UK stocking requirements
- Supervise orders and arrange stocking of products to ensure they meet needs
- Communicate with suppliers, warehouse and contractors, etc. to achieve mutual satisfaction
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies to synchronize inventories between system and physical stock
- Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
- Support HQ with GSGS (Global Sourcing, Global Sales) strategy
- Prepare accurate reports to generate both long and short term sales forecasts through demand analysis
Qualifications and Skills
· 2-4 years of relevant experience in logistics and/or inventory in an analytical role
· Experience in customer service will be appreciated
· Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
· Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
· Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
· Ability to maintain positive under pressure
· Fluency in Korean and/or Mandarin would be considered an asset
