EWM is seeking a creative, dynamic, and innovative Marketing Communications Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of communications, and programs for our digital marketing initiatives. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will engage in the development and production of social media content, and research into community engagement opportunities.
Working with the Sales & Marketing Coordinator and President, the Marketing Communications Coordinator will create visual, written, and digital communications materials over the course of the position, helping to ensure that EWM key messages and public-facing image are consistently integrated across multiple channels of communication. You will also work on several project-based assignments, creating original digital and video content to promote EWM programs across social media channels, engage online audiences, and extend our reach within the communities we serve.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaises with external vendors, e.g., agency/creative design firms, copywriters, photographers and videographers, and printers, to facilitate the production of marketing and communications materials.
- Coordinates and executes the development of print materials from start to finish, including gathering project information, sourcing suppliers, creating project/creative briefs, working with copywriters and designers, managing feedback and revisions, and reviewing print proofs. Projects include brochures, cards, bulletin boards, and print ads.
- Provides support of marketing media campaigns from start to completion, including gathering/formulating project requirements, developing creative briefs for agencies/vendors, creating project plans and timelines, requesting quotes from suppliers, coordinating feedback and approvals, and managing project communications between internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure projects are completed and delivered efficiently and accurately.
- Plans, manages and implements digital marketing and communications activities, ranging from advertising, email campaigns, event promotions, to web and digital media, ensuring that the digital brand strategy and marketing direction are aligned across all platforms and communication channels.
- Designs or works with internal and external designers on required assets for collateral, online assets such as emails, social media or display advertisements.
- Gathers content and assets, writes copy, editing and proofreading for print and online communications, including production of updates to business unit web pages.
- Creates campaign reports incorporating digital media results in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Coordinator
- Contributes to the ongoing efforts of the Marketing Department in supporting internal stakeholders’ marketing needs by ensuring available assets, resources, guidelines, graphic standards, processes, and protocols are being leveraged and utilized effectively.
- Update and maintain branded content on social media platforms to keep content current/relevant with the Communications team on initiatives relating to marketing campaigns.

- Liaises with partners and business unit in the management and logistics for photo/video shoots.
- Performs competitive analysis and research on industry trends, as required.

Qualifications:
- Degree in business or communications is preferred. Minimum of one year of related experience in marketing.
- Experience working in a similar role within a marketing team in a similar organization
- Demonstrated experience in design and graphics production; proficiency with Adobe Creative software, Hootsuite, WordPress, Google AdWords and more is an asset.
- Ability to interact professionally with stakeholders and external vendors.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience managing/coordinating traditional and digital markets assets and website content.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal communication and copywritting skills in Cantonese (Traditional Chinese) and English.
