ZML Holdings Group Corporation is a real estate company located in downtown Vancouver, specializing in real estate investment and commercial property management. We have properties in Metro Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, and U.S.
We are currently recruiting a Senior Corporate Accountant. This is an excellent full-time opportunity for a candidate with corporate accounting expertise. The position reports to the Controller.
Duties include but not limited to:
· Perform full cycle of accounting duties for corporation and subsidiaries
· Review AR/AP and financial statements prepared by junior accountants
· Process payroll, WCB and EHT filings, maintain confidential information
· Prepare monthly/quarterly/annually GST filings and remit taxes/installments on a timely basis
· Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data
· Compile and analyze financial information and prepare consolidated financial statements
· Liaise with external tax accountants for the preparation and filing of T2, T1134, T106 and NR4 returns
· Forecast cash flows, monitor and maintain rational cash balances among the corporation and its subsidiaries
· Prepare annual financial plans including, but not limited to annual budgets and corporate taxation
· Work with lenders, bank managers, shareholders and US property managers for corporate accounting matters
· Other ad-hoc duties as required
Qualifications:
· Completion of an accounting degree or designation
· Experience in a Senior Accountant role for minimum 3 years
· Experience in consolidation and taxation
· Detailed oriented
· Ability to meet deadlines
· Proficiency in Word, Excel and QuickBooks
· Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Chinese
Salary depends on experience
