T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly to become Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 29 stores across the country: 13 in Metro Vancouver, 6 in Alberta, and 10 in Ontario (8 in GTA and 1 in Ottawa, 1 in Waterloo).
The Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Central Planning, the Central Planning Analyst is responsible to provide assistant and support to the team by collect, manage, and analyze data from the Business Intelligence system.
Major Responsibilities:
- Take initiative to collect data from internal BI (Business Intelligence) system and generate periodic or ad hoc reports promptly and accurately
- Communicate internally with relevant department / parties for data collection
- Analyze data and make recommendations based on business requirements
- Provide administrative and clerical support
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
- Completed post-secondary education in Mathematics, Statistics or other related disciplines
- 1 year of relevant experience is preferred
- Advanced data analysis ability using Excel and BI tools (V-look up and pivot table)
- Proficient in using Windows applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Retail replenishment knowledge is preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability in communicate in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is an asset
