As the product development and production assistant, you will be responsible for helping coordinate product development, product data, and quality control.

This position will report to the Product Development Lead and will be the primary supply chain liaison between departments.

You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the product life cycle from start to finish
- Establishing and implementing quality control standards, and coordinating between the warehouse receiving and supply chain team
- Inputting and updating product and supplier data into our ERP
- Researching and reviewing comparable product information and pricing
- Researching import regulations, requirements, and duties for new products
- Organizing and testing pre- and post-production samples
- Working with and communicating to warehouse, customer service, and supply chain staff
- Reviewing POs, PIs, and packaging to ensure details are accurate
- Overseeing proofing of packaging, and production of tags and product information
- Coordinating production of locally produced tags and other paper products
Skills and Experience:
- Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Will accept equivalent in
- Applicants must be organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects at once
- Experience in production, supply chain, and product development
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in using ERPs (we use Netsuite by Oracle)
- Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop a plus
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin a plus
- Appreciation and respect for Indigenous cultures
