Job summary: A mortgage broker company is looking for an experienced mortgage broker to joour team. We are open to a full time and part time position. The office is located in Kerrisdale, Vancouver.
Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with the clients and other industry professionals.
High level of understanding underwriting procedures and product knowledge of different lenders and brokers.
Responsibilities:
Collect appropriate and accurate information required to assess future clients and decide on the acceptable risk for a policy.
Review policy applications
Prepare reports that detail risk assessment findings that contribute to the final decision
Compare various policies
Evaluate policies
Make a decision to accept, modify or reject
Analyze data
Ensuring all files are compliant per regulatory lender requirements
