Position: Country Manager

Position Overview:

Seeking a Country Manager based in Vancouver, Canada. A preferred candidate would have knowledge about local retail market, solid market research methodologies and strong team focus. Previous experience in Internet industry is also preferred.

Using big data, the company is able to offer reliable good quality products at wholesale prices. Algorithm and AI-driven technology is also applied at each stage of shopping, e.g. purchasing decision and logistic optimization, thus enhancing supply chain efficiency in an international scope.

Today we are serving customers across UK, USA, Canada, Australia and EU; a wide range of product categories are covered, including fashion, home and garden, lifestyle and etc.

Primary Duties:

* Understands the company’s strategic intentions, identifies local business development opportunities, builds competitive solutions and business models, assists the company in the building and implementation of market development strategies, and finally achieves business growth;

* Collects and summarizes the company’s local market dynamics, including product demand research, competing product information, user feedback and other information;

* Responsible for the maintenance and expansion of relationship with local customers, major partners and government sectors;

* Coordinates internal cooperation of the local team and be responsible for the implementation of headquarter policies.

Basic Requirements:

* An MBA degree is preferred; Chinese speaker, Chinese background or Chinese company experience is preferred;

* 5 years+ work experience and Internet industry experience is preferred;

* Understands basic tools and methods of market analysis, able to effectively organize and utilize resources, and conduct market analysis in a systematic and all-round way;

* Excellent logic skills, communication and coordination skills, able to effectively disassemble and execute complex tasks, and high emotional intelligence and TEAM WORK ability.

Job Type: Permanent
