Social Media Specialist

Fresh On Food is a grocery delivery service and logistics company helping to bring fresh food to customers throughout the Metro Vancouver region efficiently and with maximum convenience in mind. Job Responsibilities

• Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
• Managing a high volume of daily social media posts.
• Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
• Developing and managing social influencer programs and attending social influencer events.
• Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
• Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
• Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
• Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials.
• Turning uncut footage from a film shoot into a finished, cohesive final project.
• Create and publish content across all social media platforms and ensure content is in alignment with product launches and campaigns
• Develop and manage content calendars with a strategic lens in relation to our target demographic, products and platform specific strategies
• Coordinate both in-house content creation and edit/re-purpose any influencer/campaign assets in order to develop creative content for all digital channels
• Monitor and write responses on any public comments and flag any issues
• Facilitate community management across all social media channels and ensure engagement interactions on content and within relevant conversations
• Collate a monthly report of enquiries/complaints/questions and call out insights/trends
• Work in a social media monitoring tool as needed to schedule posts and gather insights and analytics
• Website updates including web alert banners and individual pages
• Create new pages on our website as needed
• Gather analytics from social and website pages as requested
• Other duties as required may be requested by the Company from time to time.

Requirements

• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist

• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills

• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge

• Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO

• Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels

• Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability

• Fluency in English and Mandarin

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $22.00 per hour
