2D Game Animator

We are looking for a motivated 2D Game Animator to join our team with a strong desire to contribute to every creative aspect. You have the skills and knowledge to visualize how a mobile game should look and feel, and you can translate that into a scalable and sustainable creative process.

Main Responsibilities:

· Create innovative 2D art content for user interface (UI), motion graphics and other in game needs for mobile apps (card games).

· Team up with non-art developers to build and improve our games, emphasizing results.

· Understand and articulate art and design trade-offs; solve for best player experience.

· Implements, maintains and optimizes UI in-engine.

· Communicating closely with the team and helping to provide feedback across all aspects of Art and UI.

· Meet tight production deadlines and shot quota targets while being able to work in a dynamic and fluid environment.

· Collaborates and supports other departments such marketing as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

· 3+ years of experience as a 2D animator – please include your portfolio demonstrating your skills in 2D animation.

· Strong background in graphic design, motion graphics, information flow and design.

· Proven experience of fundamental interface design principles, usability, and UI design methodologies.

· Excellent understanding of composition, color theory, hierarchy, animation, and typography.

· Ability to quickly identify problems and suggest solutions in pitches, art reviews and impromptu conversations.

· A capacity to come up with new and creative ideas in your work.

· Knowledge of the Unity/Cocoscreator/Spine.

· Knowledge of Adobe Suite:

· Photoshop

· Illustrator

· After Effects

Additional skills

· Knowledge of Casino and Poker related games.

· Experience creating and optimizing game art for mobile devices

· High-quality logo and icon creation.

· Know how to simplify and stylize characters and likenesses.

· Bilingual in Mandarin.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
