BC Drug Pharmacy is a local community pharmacy seeking a part time pharmacy & administrative assistant to help facilitate its patients and its management with its marketing, operations, and customer service.
This position is part time.
We provide an excellent work environment and health benefits. The pharmacy is located in Burnaby at 9618 Cameron St. Burnaby; where you have the chance to become a part of our close knitted team with pharmacists, family physicians, specialist, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Our pharmacy assistants are valuable team members since they will have many opportunities to communicate with our friendly patients, as well as aid the pharmacists in dispensary duties.

This job has project based commissions/bonuses in addition to wages.
Job Requirements:
No prior experience required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Ability to speak Chinese is a must (Due to geographical area).

Customer Service Experience
An interest in healthcare
- Tasks including but not limited to the following:
- Pharmacist Assistant
- DESCRIPTION
- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling,
- Data entry of patient care information into Kroll,
- Third Party adjudication (if necessary),
- Accurate dispensing prescription medications,
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
- General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary,
- Handling customer prescription pick up,
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
- Access to a vehicle is an asset as there may be urgent deliveries.
- Prepare change and coins.
- Prepare prescriptions for delivery or pick up
- Provide cash and till help to the pharmacist, assisting in opening and closing of the store.
- Customer Service for online orders
- QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation;
- Strong communication skills;
- Demonstrated customer service experience;
- Strong motivation to succeed;
- Proficient computer/data/entry skill
