IT Administrator
Work Location: Metrotown, Burnaby, BC
Responsibilities
Provide friendly and excellent IT support to employees
Monitor, manage and troubleshoot networking systems, firewalls, servers, wifi, printer, telephone and monitor equipment.·
Responsible for documentation, management and support of, but not limited to: DNS, networking stack (routers, switches, Wi-Fi, cabling), security, and backups with associated hardware.
Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Office365, Windows Server, Exchange, Outlook, SQL, etc.
Manage all commercial software testing, updates, deployment, and licensing.
Manage network hardware/software installation, configuration, and support.
Setup, manage and deploy internal dashboard systems
Setup, maintain, and test backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Manage and support cloud drive system, shared drive and Salesforce system.
Support company’s website upgrade and domain name application and management
Manage and monitor assets / inventory to ensure accurate inventory records.
Liaise and work with venders to implement IT project.
Qualifications
University degree or college diploma in Information Technology or enrolled in an Information Technology program and/or equivalent work experience and/or certificates.
About 1+ year experience within IT Administration / Helpdesk role,
Diagnosis and troubleshooting skills of technical issues
Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services
Solid understanding of Networking, VLAN, site-to-site VPN
Experience in Saleforces is preferred.
Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software best practices and trends.
Proven ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Good service sense and quick response action
Speaking mandarin is an asset.
Graduates with Co-op experience in IT Administration are welcomed.
