English Tutor for Elementary Students (Part-time)

AllSet Learning is a learning centre for children. We specialize in providing quality English Phonics programs and social etiquette role-play programs for young children ages 3 to 6 years old as well as writing programs for children from grades 1 through 7.

We are currently looking to hire English tutors who are available at least 2 afternoons of the weekday (Monday – Friday). We are also open on Saturdays but preferences will go to applicants with availability in the week.

We provide hands-on paid training to help teachers develop their confidence and skills in teaching students. We prepare all of the work in advance so teachers will never need to come early to prepare work for their students or converse with parents. This way, all of our teachers can fully focus on teaching and being a good role model for the kids!

Job Details:

• Part-time hours: 4 – 15 hours/week (minimum shift is 2 hrs in length)
• Shifts are usually between 3:00-6:30pm on weekdays and 9:30 – 4:00pm Saturdays

Job Requirements:

• Experience working with children ages 3 to 12 years old (Experience not mandatory)
• Native Speaker Fluency in English with proper pronunciation
• Second Language in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean or Tagalog

• Strong English communication skills: reading, writing and speaking
• Fun, up-beat and outgoing personality

• Time management and organization skills
• Studying towards or having achieved a university degree
