Education Counselor

Currently we are looking for an Education Counsellor to join a fast-growing education agency. It is a full-time position to work in the beautiful city centre of Vancouver.

Job Title: Education Counsellor

Responsibilities:

• Provide academic consultancy for students in term of selection of curriculums, courses and programs
• Perform assessment of selected curriculums and programs, ensure the academic achievement by students
• Supervise students’ academic progresses in each stage both for in the classroom and online, provide consultancy and support for students when they need assistance to overcome challenges
• Ensure each academic program/course completely meet curriculum requirement by BC School Board
• Attend the parent meeting, build up effective communication and conduct constructive discussion among students, parents and teachers
• Participate in the education centra promotion events
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in education related, Master Degree or above is highly appreciated
• Bilingual of English and Mandarin in reading, writing and speaking is advantageous
• 5+ years of working background in education, familiar with BC curriculum, direct experience in student counsellor related role is very valuable
• Proficiency knowledge of Microsoft Offices, Google Apps etc
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong ability to prioritize multi-tasks and meet deadlines
• Persistent and friendly personality, a good listener and adviser

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

Experience:
