We are a professional optometry clinic looking for a full time Dispensing Optician/Optometric Assistant, 4-5 days a week including Saturday. Saturday shift is mandatory.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
o Assisting customers with personalized frame and lens selection
o Frame adjustments and repairs
o Processing and receiving lab orders
o Reception answering phones and booking appointments
o Pre-testing patients and general clinic maintenance
o Inventory management
Required Skills:
o Outgoing personality with ease of making conversation along with several social interactions
o Organized, detail-oriented and time management skills
o Strong computer and typing skills with the ability to learn new software
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Retail or customer service experience is an asset
o Professional Attire
o Optician License not required but an asset
o Optical experience preferred
