The Company
Wellness North Counselling is a multi-lingual POC team of master-level female clinicians with anti-oppressive views and we are in search of associate counsellors with proficiency in Cantonese/Mandarin/Korean. We offer a wide range of online/in-person therapy and counselling services to individuals, youth, families, couples, and adults across British Columbia but more so in Tri-cities area. Our current head office location is in Port Coquitlam.
If you are a Master level clinician (RCC/RSW) driven, compassionate, ethical, professional and holistic practitioner, seeking long-term associate position with availability in your schedule to dedicate 10-15 hours to supporting clients and desire to enhance your private practice skills then this role is for you.
The Opportunity
We are seeking Registered Clinical Counsellors and/or Registered Social Worker who has
– Trauma informed lens
– Family systems knowledge, Specialized training in additional modalities – DBT/ Somatic/ IFS/EMDR/Couples Counselling/Play therapy
– Willingness to support clients through ICBC, FNHA, CVAP, EAP and private pay
– Willing to work in person
– Wants to grow client base over time
– Enjoys/Seeks great peer support team, mentorship, regular group events
Part-time hours: 5-10 hrs/week to start
Education:
- Master’s Degree (Required)
Experience:
- Clinical: 5 years (Preferred)
Languages:
- Knowledge of multiple languages (especially Cantonese/Mandarin/Korean required)
