Full Job Description
We are a natural health food supplement manufacturer. We are seeking a creative and passionate Purchaser with prior experience in sourcing and ordering materials, equipment and services. The right candidate will also be familiar with purchasing procedures, supplier contracts, supplier quality control and reporting requirements. The Purchaser will also be responsible for managing contracts within the finance department and implementing cost reduction strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and award contracts to suppliers.
- Manage contracts with suppliers.
- Analyze data on pricing, quantity and quality of goods ordered from suppliers.
- Order the correct quantities from different suppliers.
- Ensure the quality of goods ordered is high enough.
- Know when to use alternative suppliers.
- Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures.
- Compare different companies cost, order quantity, and lead time.
- Review and process suppliers in different countries.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
- Need to be fluent in English and Mandarin. Cantonese is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,663.00-$54,956.00 per year
