Job Title: Head of Global Human Resources
(Must Speak Mandarin, Able to Travel)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Global Human Resources to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource management across multiple countries and regions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and training and development. The Head of Global HR will provide leadership and guidance to the HR team and work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company’s global goals and objectives. Fluency in Mandarin is a requirement for this role, as well as the ability to travel internationally as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global HR strategies that support the company’s global goals and objectives
- Oversee the talent acquisition process globally to ensure the company attracts and hires top talent across all regions, with a focus on Mandarin-speaking talent
- Manage employee relations globally and provide guidance to managers on handling employee-related issues across different cultures and regions, with a focus on Mandarin-speaking employees
- Develop and implement performance management programs globally that align with the company’s global goals and objectives
- Ensure the company’s compensation and benefits packages are competitive and in line with industry standards globally
- Develop and implement training and development programs globally to enhance employee skills and knowledge across different cultures and regions
- Oversee compliance with employment laws and regulations globally
- Provide leadership and guidance to the global HR team
- Serve as a strategic partner to the senior leadership team on global HR matters
- Travel internationally as needed to manage HR operations and initiatives across different regions
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in global human resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Fluency in Mandarin is required
- Strong knowledge of global HR laws and regulations
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with diverse cultures and regions
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels globally
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different cultures and regions
- Ability to manage multiple global projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- SHRM or other relevant certification preferred
