Oomomo Canada Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Costing and Billing Coordinator to join our Costing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate billing and invoicing for our company.
Costing and Billing Coordinator
Job Duties:
- Generate pre-invoice reports and ensure all calculations are accurate for accounting department
- Review and posting transactions in SAP system
- Implement company’s cost standards and prepare product cost table
- Monitor inventory transactions and process inventory adjustment accordingly
- Support the team to manage the whole cycle of accounts receivable and payable processes
- Reconciling customer accounts and resolving any discrepancies
- Assist month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Assist the department manager to execute year-end stock take project
- Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and information
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Preparation of any ad hoc & monthly reports as needed
Job Requirements:
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of costing and billing processes
- Previous SAP experience is a strong asset
- Proficient computer and MS Office skills, with advanced skills in MS Excel (Pivot table, Vlookup, formulas)
- Protects company’s value by keeping information confidential
- Strong data entry skills, with a keen the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Good commercial awareness and business understanding
- Fluent in English, with an additional second language (e.g., Cantonese/ Mandarin etc.) is a plus
