Job Description: We are currently seeking talented and experienced female online tutors who have gone through the British Columbia (BC) elementary and secondary school system to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a native English and Mandarin speaker, with a strong background in the BC curriculum. Knowledge of French is a bonus. As an online tutor, you will be responsible for delivering customized lessons to students in various subjects, while providing a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop personalized lesson plans based on individual student needs and learning styles
- Provide engaging, interactive, and high-quality online tutoring sessions
- Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Communicate with parents and students regarding progress, goals, and expectations
- Attend training sessions and team meetings as required
Requirements:
- Must have completed the British Columbia (BC) elementary and secondary school system
- Native English and Mandarin speaker; knowledge of French is a bonus
- At least 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably in an online setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must be female, in accordance with client preferences
