About Liuyishou Hotpot:
Chongqing Liuyishou Hotpot was founded in 2000, which is a leading enterprise that specializes in managing hot pot chains and franchisees. Liuyishou now has expanded its business to more than 1,200 overseas units all around the world. In 2014, Liuyishou chose the greater Vancouver for our North America Head Office and opened our first restaurant in Richmond BC. In 2015, Liuyishou International Management Company (Canada) Ltd. was established to operate Liuyishou Hot Pot Restaurants across North America. Since then, we have directly managed a central kitchen and large-scale food processing factory, with over 20 restaurants and 500 employees in North America.
We are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join the team. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, this Associate will execute mechanical work on equipment used within the facility to help production run in a safe operation and in good working order. The Associate will perform their duties in cooperation with his/ her team members in a safe and food-safe manner.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Must be able to install, troubleshoot, and repair complex production equipment, involving work of a varied nature with minimum supervision;
- Enhance equipment performance by installing modifications; making adjustments; and recommending improvements;
- Share knowledge of equipment by training and coaching fellow employees;
- Completes routine paperwork as required;
- Works from drawings, written or verbal instructions and sketches;
- Operates production equipment to check work as required;
- Ensures compliance with manufacturing, CFIA, health and safety, government regulations and all Food Safety standard operating procedures;
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum three year experience, preferable in a food production facility;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral) in Mandarin and English;
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of preventive maintenance and other maintenance tools;
- Ability to analyze equipment malfunctions and then selects appropriate corrective actions;
- Knowledge and understanding CFIA, WHMIS and GMP requirements;
- Must be very flexible, be a team player, and have the ability to work with minimum supervision;
- Must have excellent work ethics and attendance record;
- Will be required to perform physically demanding work.
