ZZ Millwork Shop is Hiring:
Since 1990, Z & Z’s business has expanded across Western Canada. We have extensive experience in commercial and institutional sectors, such as food services, schools, hospitals, and government services. We also specialized in retail and supermarket projects, including Nesters Market, Buy Low Foods, Super Store, and Choice Market.
Our team is looking for an experienced Cabinetmaker with attention to detail, commitment to efficient production in the shop, and an open-minded attitude towards people & learning.
Z & Z Holdings Ltd. is a custom millwork design & build company equipped with diverse operations in providing a full range of millwork services, including design, estimate, management, millwork finishing work and upholstery.
Installation experience and general renovation/construction knowledge is an asset. The position is full-time. We are looking for someone to commit to growing long-term with the company.
Qualifications:
Experience and quality of work are more important than any certification.
Skilled applicants preferred, but less experienced individuals with the right attitude and potential would be a good fit.
Salary: hourly rate based on experience and merit after candidate evaluation. Benefit program is available.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to fabricate custom cabinets, including routing custom millwork with drawings.
- Competent with machines and tools, including routers, jointers, planers, sliding table saws, edge banders etc.
- Safely operate a company vehicle using good judgment, abiding by all traffic laws.
- Enjoy working on a team and possess good communication skills.
- Attend all division meetings and training sessions as required.
- Meet company protocols for attendance and punctuality.
- Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset.
- Experiences in working in diverse teams is an asset
- Forklift operating license is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 Hour Shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend upon needs
- Overtime upon needs
