Company Introduction: T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 33 stores across the country: 14 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 11 in Ontario, and 1 in Quebec. The Company’s continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years.
The Role: The Human Resources Analyst, Talent Acquisition works with a team, responsible to assist in the planning, organizing, implementing, and all related tasks and activities under talent acquisition.
- Major Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end recruitment projects for hiring of frontline store positions, tasks include posting of advertisements, conducting phone screening and face-to-face interviews, arranging skill-assessment, making selection recommendations, performing reference and background checks, arranging job preview to negotiating/closing the offer
- Propose, plan, and implement advertising strategies, conduct research and maintain appropriate advertising channels to reach targeted applicants
- Coordinate with internal and external parties for production and posting of recruitment advertisement
- Support employer branding and administer recruitment marketing, including social media, internet, and on sites
- Provide support or engage with key internal stakeholders throughout entire recruitment cycle
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in job fairs and career talks, in house or in collaboration with external parties
- Assistant Canada and US cross-border work visa application
- Answer job enquiries received from various channels courteously and promptly
- Collect and maintain all recruitment and related documentations
- Perform any other duties and participate in projects as assigned
- Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, or related disciplines
- At least 3 years of work experience in talent acquisition or recruitment marketing, preferably in retail/grocery industry
- Hands-on experience with social media advertising and promotion
- Experience in high volume recruitment is essential
- Working knowledge in Canada and US work visa application is highly preferred
- A good team player, proactive, ability in multi-tasking and complete tasks with minimum supervision
- Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills (Words, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
- Knowledge of Chinese is highly preferred
