We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced general manager to lead the launch of our upcoming hotpot restaurant in Edmonton, Alberta. As the general manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the business, maintaining high standards of customer service, and maximizing profitability.
Responsibilities:
As the general manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the restaurant’s day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team to success. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Hiring, training, and managing staff
- Creating and implementing operational procedures
- Maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and service
- Managing inventory and controlling costs
- Collaborating with the culinary team to develop menus and specials
- Upholding health and safety regulations
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in hotpot restaurant management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- A passion for the culinary arts and dedication to providing exceptional dining experiences
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions under pressure
- Fluent in both Chinese and English
