As our organization continues to grow, we are looking to strengthen our team with an HR Generalist who will support our human resources processes and employee relations.
Job Summary:
The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources department. This position is responsible for assisting with the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and filed appropriately.
- Help administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company benefits.
- Maintain employee records in the HR information system, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and accurate.
- Assist in the coordination of training sessions and seminars.
- Handle routine inquiries from employees regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.
- Support the HR management in implementing HR projects and initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain reports related to specific HR projects.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years previous experience in human resources or a similar role preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR operations and best practices and knowledgeable about the full cycle for HR.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Proficient with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluency in Mandarin is a definite asset for communicating with the China team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
