Job Summary
The ideal candidate would preferably have experience covering the residential and commercial real estate transaction including transfers, transmissions, purchase, mortgages and sale transactions. The knowledge of the commercial and lending transaction will be an asset but not required. The working knowledge of various applicable databases i.e. BC Online, LTSA, eConveyance/ProSuite, ESI, municipal tax searches, etc. and strong document production skills and solid proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe and in preparing Land Title electronic systems.
This position requires strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the transaction from start to finish, providing support to clients throughout their property transactions.
Duties
- Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information for property transactions.
- Prepare and review legal documents related to property transfers, including contracts and title deeds.
- Maintain organized files for each transaction, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Communicate with clients via phone and email, providing updates on the status of their transactions.
- Perform data entry tasks to ensure all information is accurately recorded in the system.
- Conduct research on property titles and ownership histories as needed.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the conveyancing department.
Skills
- Proficiency with eConveyance or ProSuite.
- Strong interviewing skills to effectively gather information from clients.
- Proficient in data entry with high attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- Research skills to investigate property titles and relevant legal information.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Proficient in clerical tasks, including filing and document management.
- Administrative skills to support overall office operations efficiently.

Pay: $55,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
