Job Overview
As a Meat Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our meat department is well-stocked, clean, and appealing to customers. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality of fresh meat while providing excellent customer service. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties
- Grind meats and slice cooked meats using powered grinders and slicing machines.
- Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
- Grind meats and slice cooked meats using powered grinders and slicing machines to cut, weigh, package, label and price meat products for sale.
- Inspect the quality of meat, fish and seafood, expiry dates and ensure proper product rotation.
- Follows Health and Safety guidelines.
Working in Walmart’s produce department requires specific skills and qualifications:
- Speak Mandarin and Cantonese as an assent
- Previous meat handling experience as an assent
- Food Handling and Safety Knowledge
- Attention to Detail
- Good Physical Strength
- Teamwork and Communication
- Previous Experience

Pay: From $17.40 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
