POSITION TITLE: Production Supervisor
REPORTING TO: Production Manager

Position Overview
The successful candidate will be a motivated, innovative and self-starting individual. The ability to lead a team and work with all levels of the organization from production staff to senior management is essential. This role will include the direct supervision of production staff members.
Duties and Responsibilities
Through the management of a team of employees, the incumbent will provide flawless service to our customers and maintain a high level of employee relations. Some duties will include:
Lead a team of production employees and ensure that continuous coaching and communication is provided,
Coordinate and schedule employee hours weekly,
Collaborating with other departments such as QA/HR/Maintenance/Sanitation in ensuring that all internal requirements are adhered by (Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, Machine Maintenance),
Develop processes and production SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures),
Communicate and work with co-supervisors in ensuring that products are made to order according to customer needs,
Provide ongoing support and training to staff on company SOP’s and policies,
Accountable for GMP (good manufacturing practices) on the production floor,
Accountable for daily productivity and overtime in the facility,
Participate in employee performance assessments
Other duties as assigned.

Creating and Maintaining an exceptional working relationship with staff,
Determining and implementing best practices that translate into flawless customer service,
Organizational ability, attention to detail and willingness to be coached is essential,
Ability to oversee a wide range of produce commodities and specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
At least 1-2 years of experience within a food processing/manufacturing environment.
Computer knowledge, Word and Excel basic proficiency, and knowledge of other emailing applications such as Google Mail is required.
Ability to coach and train production level staff.
Excellent judgment, diplomacy, and discretion.
Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
A second language is preferred. (Mandarin/Cantonese, Punjabi, Filipino)
Previous fresh produce and supervisory experience are an asset.
