Responsibilities:
• Prepare full cycle accounting, including year-end adjusting entries
• Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements for management and external parties
• Performing financial analysis and compiling key financial metrics to enhance value
• Reviews the existing accounting policies and procedures, ensuring their accuracy and GAAP compliance and recommends improvements
• Assist in the operating and budget analysis
• Complete internal audits
• overseeing the implementation and/or upgrade of accounting software
• manage and conduct review of intermediate and junior accountant work
• Work closely with external accountant for preparing T2 and tax planning
• Complete special projects as required
Requirements:
• CPA designation or equivalent
• 2+ years of accounting experience at senior level
• Proficiency with both International Financial Report Standards (IFRS) and Accounting Standard for Private Enterprises (ASPE)
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English
• Experience with consolidation process
• Experience with technology sector is an asset
• US accounting experience is an asset
• Team player with the ability to collaborate with other team members and maintain a positive work environment
• Excellent accounting and technical skills with attention to detail and drive for accuracy
