Responsibilities:
– Bookkeeping for multiple related entities
– Create import and/or sales export documents using computer system (Purchase Order, Performa Invoice, Customer Invoice, Packing List)
– Create and file related bank documents needed (cover letters, bill of drafts, letter of credit)
– Payroll administration
– Create, maintain, and enter information into databases
– Organize databases, specifically logistics related
– Perform logistics duties: track cargo, track inventory, review Bill of Lading/Seaway Bills, update relevant information, answer any related questions
– Track and update relevant information regarding each order and answer any related questions
– Tax filling and other relevant tasks
– Sort and distribute communications between customers, suppliers, and other relevant parties in a timely manner
– Organize and assist team members in ways that optimize procedures
– Follow established policies, procedures, and standards in execution of all work assigned
– Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
– Perform general office clerk duties and errands
– Performs miscellaneous duties that may be assigned
Skills/Qualities :
– Microsoft Office Suite
– Adobe PDF
– Fluent in both English and Mandarin; other languages are assets
– Excellent organizational skills
– Very detailed oriented
– Patient and willingness to learn
