Job Description
A recognized and well established food company based in the Lower Mainland of B.C. We are the exclusive Canada distributor for many Asian Brands.
We are looking for the suitable individual to fill in the Assistant Sales Manager position in Wholesale Trade, working with the company managers to find ways to build sales, control expenses, and develop growth strategies to contribute to the growth and profitability of the company.
Roles and responsibilities:
Responsible for Canadian market to meet the yearly revenue targets for the region and assigned, plan, direct and evaluate the operations
Assess business opportunities, market conditions and competitors’ activities, develop marketing and competitive strategies, implement and report on marketing plans and sales strategies to achieve business goals
Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors’ operations on sales
Provides input needed for the development of future services and products, source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale, determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
Develop and maintain sales relationships with existing clients; Identify and solicit potential clients, generate new business
Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues, resolve customer complaints and supply shortages
Manage staff, assign duties and evaluate daily operations
Employment requirements
A university degree or college diploma in a relevant field of sales or marketing is required
A solid sales background and proven track record of your achievements, personally or professionally.
Candidates with prior experience in marketing food & beverage products sales will be given a priority.
Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin will be given a priority.
