Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and guide the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test strategies, test procedures and test scripts for Alphapay’s payment system and platforms.
2. Formulate standard and systematic test policies and procedures to ensure complete testing coverage, timely response, proper bug/fix flows and detailed test log.
3. Identify the scope of the testing required for a particular system, platform, specific features and plugins, and set up the schedule for the testing activities.
4. Choose appropriate testing technologies based on development requirements, establish the infrastructure of the testing environment.
5. Execute test plans, automated integration, component and UI tests within frameworks to identify defects and validate the performance and quality of the system.
6. Log defects and work with the development team closely to establish defect validity, identify the root cause and fix bugs.
7. Monitor the test progress through the entire testing cycles from test on beta, release-candidate to production builds for systems on multiple platforms including responsive web, native mobile, mobile app, Wechat Mini Program, and 3rd party integrations etc.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Degree, diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education in Computer Science, Computer programming, QA Testing, Engineering or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of direct experience in software automation testing, test case development, test execution, test results analysis, and test optimization.
3. Proficiency in Java is required, must have an in-depth understanding of development methodologies like Agile and QA environment management.
4. Team player, ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
