Position Purpose andSummary

The Compliance Coordinator works to ensure the IDC process runs smoothly while supporting the Global Connections team. The Compliance Coordinator will oversee admissions letters to ensure accuracy and to monitor the payment and commission rates for the international agents. This position will also process refunds and oversee the monetary transactions between the University and the Agents.

Key Areas of Accountability

  • [email protected] and forward apps, inquiries and requests to other Global Connections’ staff
  • Evaluate and transfer files for BA Leadership students in response to requests from other departments (e.g. transfer credits evaluation, missing official documents, course registration, and graduation check).
  • Prepare BA Leadership Admissible letter and Letter of Acceptance depending on the stage of the application and evaluation results. Send letters to program specialist.
  • Contact students to ask for official documents
  • Issue deposit and tuition receipts and process refund when request is submitted by applicants, students, agents, or other staff
  • Prepare commission report when commission request is submitted by agents and send commission reports and agents’ invoices to Branch team for processing
  • Assist agents with representative agreement
  • Prepare and check Executive Director (Global Recruitment and Partner Relations)’s receipts for credit card report and send report to Branch team
  • Assist Executive Director (Global Recruitment and Partner Relations)’s with Reconciliation Form and send form to Branch team
  • Assist Branch team with Global Connections staff’s reimbursement
  • Compile, compare and analyze data, statistics and other information to support research activities or respond to requests from supervisor, Executive Director (Global Recruitment and Partner Relations) and other departments
  • Assist in education fairs and related agency trainings on the BA Leadership program

Skills and Abilities

Efficient in Microsoft Suite and familiar in the use of various software programs, accurate data-entry skills. Detail oriented. Able to communicate positively in a cross and multi-cultural environment. Able to work courteously under time pressures. Flexible in meeting deadlines and ensuring the delivery of professional communication and customer service. Able to act as a team player. Ability to speak and write fluently in Mandarin and English.

Standards& Requirements

Education: BA required.

Experience: 2-3 years of related experience required, customer service experience considered an asset.Experience at TWU preferred.
