[About the Job]
The Financial department is a key part of the management team responsible for the restaurants overall financial health and performance so that the business can grow and better serve its guests, employees and investors! This open position’s key functions include financial systems building, strategic planning, financial reporting, forecasting, internal control, payroll, accounting, risk management, and tax preparation. The successful candidate should have an understanding of the hospitality industry, specific to the foodservice sector,working experiences of big corporation. They are detail-oriented, a numbers all-star, and great at working with others. This is a full-time position, reporting to the parent company team at a fun, mission-driven company with a strong family vibe.
[Job Duties]
- Coordinating payroll activities to ensure all pay data is compiled, processed, and reconciled in an accurate and timely manner to meet all payroll deadlines, executing payroll transactions utilizing ADP Workforce system including transmitting, processing, and generating payroll runs, and act as a pivotal contact to provide resolution for any payroll tax issues and all employee concerns regarding payroll related issues;
- Preparing all accounting functions including A/R, A/P, Revenue, Cost of sales, inventory, assets recording, liability and expenses entries by compiling account information;
- Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement and internal financial reporting packages;
- Assist in designing and implementing internal control, and preparation of budget;
- Perform other duties as assigned
[Job Requirements]
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a full-cycle accounting environment
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles & procedures
- Highly developed software skills including: Microsoft Office and Excel
- Adept organizational and time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines
- Food and beverage industry experience is an asset
- Fluently speak and write in English, Mandarin is required
