CRC Health Centre is looking for one to two part-time/casual Licensed Practical Nurse(s) to join our team for home monitoring! We are currently hiring nurses for home visits in Richmond only. The hours are regular but flexible with morning shifts (between 7 am to 11:30 am) and evening shifts (between 4 pm to 7 pm), on both weekdays and weekends. Each shift ranges between 3 to 4 hours. Your responsibilities will include: Visiting patients in the community Administering medications (orally, injections, creams, patches) Performing patient-specific assessments (ie: Blood glucose monitoring, Blood Pressure monitoring, pulse taking) Acting in acute situations according to pre-set company protocols Noting changes in behaviour for mental health patients Documentation of all interventions and assessment data Submitting daily reports to the pharmacist Actively participating in patients’ healthcare outcomes NO assistance with personal care or ADL’s The ideal candidate must meet the following job requirements: Excellent communication skills Highly motivated and have strong work ethics Attention to detail Reliable, flexible, friendly and professional Position Requirements Driver's License A reliable vehicle Currently in good standing with CLPNBC Reference check This position can start immediately, and excellent candidates can be given a future opportunity to work full-time in our health centre.
