Early Childhood Educator, Assistant or Infant/Toddler Teacher
Hours: Full Time(35+ hours/week)
Compensation: competitive salary, with additional benefits after a 3 month probationary period
Start date: ASAP
We ae childcare composed of a 0-3 years old program and 3-5 years old program. We are currently seeking an experienced and licensed ECE, ECEA, or Infant/Toddler Teacher for both programs.
Major Responsibilities(but not limited to):
• Interact directly with the children to provide quality care
• Assist with the planning and implementation of consistent child-centered program
• Establish and maintain positive daily communication with families
• Maintain a neat and clean environment, including all activity and program areas, common spaces, and washrooms
• Ensure that all safety and supervision standards are implemented and maintained
• Attend Richmond Star Training, Staff meetings as scheduled
• Collaborate with our team to deliver a high-quality program
• aintain regular attendance, punctuality and be professionally dressed and well groomed
Qualification:
• ECE, ECEA, or Infant/Toddler License required
• Experience and passion for creating innovative, play-centered programs
• Montessori Certification and experience an asset
• Current Emergency First Aid CPR-C Certification an asset
• Additional courses/training related to child growth and development an asset
