职责范围
• 要成功担任演讲训练老师的职位,个人必须具备并证明以下内容:

• 针对儿童和青少年(4岁至17岁)的设计学习程序,包括讲故事,演讲写作,戏剧,即兴创作等演讲艺术,可在线或在实际地点进行教学。
• 针对儿童和青少年(4岁至17岁)的设计教学计划,涉及各种形式的公开演讲,包括正式演讲,非正式演讲和辩论,将在网上或线下发布。

Responsibilities
To be successful in the Public Speaking Trainer position, an individual must have and demonstrate the following
:
• Design programs for kids and youth (4yrs – 17yrs) involving speaking skills, organization skills, communication skills and others, to be delivered online and at physical locations
• Design programs for kids and youth (4yrs – 17yrs) involving speech arts such as storytelling, speech writing, drama, improvisation and others, to be delivered online and at physical locations
• Design programs for kids and youth (4yrs – 17yrs) involving various forms of public speaking including formal presentations, informal speech as well as debating, to be delivered online and at physical locations
• Design the various levels such as basic, intermediate and advanced of the programs to be delivered
• Plan materials, kits and supporting supplies needed during the programs
• Plan the programs into sessions of appropriate duration and content to be delivered during the programs and each of the sessions
• Create modules, activities and tasks to be completed by the kids in the sessions.
• Create a mechanism for providing and collecting feedback during the programs
*Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
• Certificate, diploma, degree or attending education in communications, teaching, tutoring, language, education, or a related field.
• Experience teaching or tutoring kids ages 4 – 17
• Prior experience creating and planning programs and sessions for kids
• Ability to efficiently use online meeting tools and services such as Zoom and others
• Ability to encourage, motivate and involve kids/youth in program activities
• Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with kids/youth and parents
• Ability to guide volunteers and program assistants to manage sessions and successfully run the programs
• Have a criminal record check done or be ready for one
