KEY Education is looking for an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist who’s willing to learn and grow within the Company!
This role is integral to, and essential in, providing administrative support and expertise to students and families for administrative and sales-related matters. In this responsibility, there is a clear expectation of meeting, scheduling, filing details about and reporting to parents, teachers, team members, and respective department managers throughout the year.
This role will start as a part-time position with the potential to turn into full-time permanent if you excel in this role.
Job Duties:
Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
Supports the overall efforts of sales initiatives including informing new prospects about KEY services and expertise.
Schedules classes and meetings, coordinates availability with clients and staff as needed.
Conducts phone interviews with prospective clients
Answers customer inquiries in a timely manner, answers/transfers phone calls and communicates messages to office staff as needed.
Assists in sending reports, communicating progress, and developing relationships with parents and students.
Provides verbal and written translation as needed for communication and marketing purposes (Mandarin/English).
Maintenance of office routine to ensure the smooth operations of organizational procedures including lock-up/open up procedures, mail pickup or delivery, and other administrative or organization-related duties as needed.
Continually analyze departmental operations and identify areas requiring improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Chinese Mandarin required.
Prior working experience in a client-facing role with client management experience within the education industry is an asset.
Quick Learner with good communication and strong problem-solving skills.
Adaptability to changing conditions and priorities, able to work with tight deadlines.
Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
