Position Description:
Aoyuan Canada is seeking an outgoing, organized, and motivated Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our Vancouver team.
The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist will assist with departments for a large portfolio of residential properties. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic and attention to detail and be willing to learn and take on more responsibility as they gain more experience.
Position Responsibilities:
- Handle various administrative duties including mail/courier, faxing, filing & printing
- Conduct daily correspondence via phone, email and in person
- Monitor and maintain office equipment
- Order and maintain office supplies and project materials/needs as required
- Ensure offices are well maintained and functional
- Keep the office kitchen organized
- Maintain and prepare reports and schedule meetings
- Ensure files and documents are well kept
- Provide administrative support to other departments including data transfer between different systems, and clerical support
- Assist the accounting team with invoice processing, expense claim and basic bookkeeping
- Assist with the sales team for the condo closing
- Assist with monitoring homeowner inquiries via email or phone as needed
- Ability to travel to the project site and different offices including Surrey PC office as needed
- Ad hoc tasks and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in MS office
- Open to multi-functional responsibility and willingness to support the business operations as needed
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Accounting experience is an asset
- Fluent in English and Chinese (an asset) (both written and verbal)
Education: Completion of a two-year business or university program
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Salary: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
