Who we are?
FORBEST ACADEMY is a high-tech educational complex headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Our mission is to cultivate students with the spirit of self-reliance and self-efficacy as we believe “Self-discipline is the center of all success” and to help primary and secondary students from all over the world receive a better education. Now we are looking for full-time English teachers and French teachers to join us.
Chinese/Mandarin Instructor (Teaching Online & In-person classes)
- Bachelor’s degree or above, solid professional knowledge and relevant educational experience;
- Familiar with Chinese teaching of BC curriculum.
- Understanding Chinese literature in elementary and secondary school is preferred;.
- Proficient in Chinese reading, writing, listening and speaking.
- Available schedule after school and during the weekend.
- Excellent communication skills appropriate/relevant to test type and students.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Understand and be familiar with the topics by analyzing the AP past paper.
- Tutor-tailored AP courses based on the student level and needs.
- Develop AP Prep Materials if needed.
- Previous teaching experience and qualifications are considered assets.
- Have a good team spirit.
- Available schedule after school and during the weekend.

Job Details:
- Job Types: part-time.
- Salary: $22.00-$30.00 per hour.
- COVID-19 considerations: The interview will be held on Zoom.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday.
- On call.
- Weekend availability.
Qualifications:
- Ability to commute/relocate: Richmond, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).
- Experience: Teaching 2-3 year (preferred).
- Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia (preferred)
