OpenRoad Auto Group is currently seeking to expand our team with a Full-time BDC Service Assistant Manager at OpenRoad Auto Group- Head Office Coquitlam.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage a team of contact agents and team leads
Hiring, evaluating, counselling and disciplining service team leads and agents
Performing coaching sessions weekly with agents and team leads
Review real time data and statistics to drive and enhance performance
Carry out performance measurements, monitoring and evaluation of all agents to improve efficiency
Compile all necessary reports and metrics on a timely fashion
Motivate and encourage agents through positive communication and feedback
Provide ongoing training and product information to agents and team leads
Be available and willing to affect the entirety of the team’s operations including but not limited to:
Being present to answer agent’s questions regarding services, programs or products
Assisting with inbound/outbound calls, email and text communication daily
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, with varied schedule depending on the business needs
Work closely with service managers to promote shop capacity
Performs other duties as per business needs

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

2+ Years or management or supervisory experience in customer service environment
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to motivate and support team members, as well as build effective relationships with all levels of professionals
Ability to exercise confidentiality
Sound decision making skills
Planning and prioritization of skills
Promotes a prosperous, positive and professional work environment
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box
Ability to maintain a proper work life balance
Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment, while maintaining calmness and positive attitude under tight pressure
Be able to produce innovative and creative solutions to a variety of challenges
Multi-tasker who can manage priorities, meet deadlines and work efficiently despite call volumes from clients and staff.
A second language would be an asset (preferably Cantonese or Mandarin) but not a requirement.
Interest in the Automotive industry preferred (not asset)
