Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for independently planning research project and developing new product lines of recombinant protein, which could be applied to various in vitro diagnostic detection reagent platforms
Responsible for drafting and coordinating the submissions of academic manuscripts
Deliver internal and external scientific and technical investigations
Troubleshoot and resolve complex scientific and technical investigations
Generate intellectual property and assist in writing patent applications. Perform literature and patent searches to identify new technologies and scientific trends. Identify and execute product and process improvement projects
Generate technical documentation and provide pre- and post product launch support
Ad hoc projects and special assignments when required
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Ph.D. with relevant experience or training in relevant fields, such as cell biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology
Strong knowledge of recombinant DNA technology. Primers design, gene cloning, subcloning techniques, PCR, RT-PCR, PCR cloning, cDNA cloning, single-cell RT-PCR, protein expression using various expression vector system in Prokaryotic and eukaryotic expression systems, protein purification via chromatography.
Experience in ELISA, Western Blot, protein labelling, chemical conjugation and flow cytometry et.
Advanced knowledge and experience in mammalian cell culture techniques and optimization, including cell-based assays
Skilled presenter to deliver technical summaries of data with critical thinking skills to provide in-depth analytical explanations and interpretations.
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
Excellent English oral and written communication skills
