A Company Executive is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper who has experience in a similar role to fill a full-time position for personal accounting.
We are seeking a bright professional with great communication skills who is very confident in their bookkeeping skills and accuracy.
Suitable candidates must have strong work ethics and must be personable, self-motivated, and resourceful.
Key areas include:
• Full cycle bookkeeping
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Cheque runs and expense analysis
• Prepare month end financials reports
• Banking and reconciliations
• Various internal reports as required
Requirements for the position are as follows:
• Proven bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• Strong communication skills
• Well-versed in using computers and proficient in MS Office (with intermediate Excel skills), and QuickBooks
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Minimum 2-year Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Past experience working with logistics companies an asset but not essential
• Must have experience working in a busy office environment
