The Business Development Manager (China Market)’s responsibilities include identifying and developing strong relationships with new individual and institutional clients to increase the sales revenue of the school application business and other UniExplore services as relevant. The Business Development Manager also answers client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Marketing, Client Success, etc.) to maximize the success of our clients and the business as a whole.

Responsibilities:

Establish and develop key relationships across a range of educational institutions and organizations from Private High schools to community groups to Universities, etc.
Develop and create new business opportunities to present UniExplore materials at Educational Institutions or other organizations.
Take ownership of entire business development and sales cycle, including lead generation, prospecting and client conversion, with new individual customers.
Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Develop new businesses with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
Liaise between the customer and internal teams
Forecast and track key account metrics
Requirements:

1 – 3 Years of Sales and Business Development experience or other relevant experience. Experience in international education is preferred but not required
Established connections with the Chinese international education markets is an asset
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Fluency in Chinese is a must.

Salary: $32,179.00-$71,550.00 per year
