Full Job Description
Job Duties:
– Assist clients collecting required documents and preparing applications and submissions
– Assist Senior Consultants drafting and proofreading letters
– Manage the workflow of the assigned cases to ensure quality services are delivered and all deadlines are met
– Communicate with clients to ensure their concerns and issues are addressed in a proper and timely manner
– Review, organize and manage case files
– Key in, update and manage the case tracking system
– Proactively follow up and monitor the progress of the case to detect potential issues and resolve them efficiently
– Cross-check forms, submissions, correspondence, and other documents with peers
– Research, study and contribute insights on the immigration policies
– Participate in improving the workflow and management procedures for case processing
– Respond to internal and external inquiries
– Perform general essential administrative duties of the company
Requirements:
– Industry experience is an asset
– Experience in administrative positions is an asset
– Intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint)
– Ability to follow established instructions and procedures
– Exceptional business writing skills
– Fast learner, detail-oriented and well-organized
– Strongly self-motivated and self-initiated
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle pressures
– Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
– Capable of managing to meet various deadlines
– Ability to work independently and work with the team
– Exceptional communication skills in both English and Chinese
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Richmond, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Language:
- Mandarin (preferred)
