Job Description
Seeking Certified Dental Assistant(s) for a family-oriented Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry practice. No experience necessary (CDA Certification required) and orthodontic module competency a bonus. Excellent opportunity for growth and promotion and a stable life-long career.
Responsibilities will include:
Assist dentist with recalls, restorations, orthodontic checks, and other dental procedures
Greet patients and bring them to the treatment area, ensuring their comfort
Taking X-rays, ordering labs, and filing accurate patient records for proper billing
Stocking of tools and equipment as necessary, including set-up and sterilizations
Other dental assisting and office duties as necessary
Ideal candidates:
Should be flexible with schedule and duties, including working on Saturdays
Should have excellent communication and patient / people skills
Should be willing to learn, be well-organized and reliable with attention to detail
just a great team attitude and can-do motivated spirit for learning
Must have a CDA Certification from the National Dental Assisting Examining Board (NDAEB) of Canada
Foreign language proficiency is a bonus (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, etc.)
