This progressive dental office is looking for a Certified Dental Assistant to join their friendly team immediately to attend shifts at both of their offices in Vancouver and Delta.An opportunity to join a well-established family dental practice specializing in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Responsibilities will include:
Assist dentist with recalls, restorations, orthodontic checks, and other dental procedures
Greet patients and bring them to the treatment area, ensuring their comfort
Taking X-rays, ordering labs, and filing accurate patient records for proper billing
Stocking of tools and equipment as necessary, including set-up and sterilizations
Other dental assisting and office duties as necessary
They offer a pay rate range of $25-35/hr, based on the candidate’s experience and demonstrated ability to step in / contribute without significant training (hand-holding) required. The upper end of the pay rate would be for candidates with ortho modules, plus depending on years of experience.
They are open to entry-level candidates (e.g., new graduates, 1-2 years experience) as well, with a pay range starting at $20-25/hr also based on the experience.

Dental services allowance provided for staff and their immediate family, per person coverage and amount depending on tenure with our office.
Family and commitment are important. The Doctors are two brothers, operating a practice originally founded by their father 40 years ago.
Working schedule:
The Vancouver location is generally open Tuesday – Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 4 pm, with one hour lunch (flexible timing). Occasional Monday(TM)s as well.
The North Delta location is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the same hours as Vancouver.
Exact days to be negotiated and all employees are expected to work in both offices.
Minimum requirements:
CDA licensed in Canada and BC
Must have a CDA Certification from the National Dental Assisting Examining Board (NDAEB) of Canada
Chairside and foreign-trained dentist who does not have a CDA license in Canada won’t be considered for the position.
Ideal candidate:
Should be flexible with schedule and duties, including working on Saturdays
Should have excellent communication and patient / people skills
Should be willing to learn, be well-organized and reliable with attention to detail
Just a great team attitude and can-do motivating spirit for learning
Ortho module is a bonus
Foreign language proficiency is a bonus (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, etc.)
