Aer Rianta International Inc. (North America), also known as ARI or ARINA, is one of the leading operators of duty-free shops at international airports. In order to support our future development, we are looking for a Chanel Retail Manager, in our duty-pay shop at Vancouver’s International airport. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, is a good team player and enjoys working in a stimulating and fast-paced environment.
Job Summary
Reporting to Head of Operations, the Chanel Retail Manager is responsible to manage, control and drive the direct retail operations of the store to ensure the highest level of customer service in line with our core values and achieve its financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the overall retail strategy of DAA as part of the retail management team.
- Ensure that retail forecasts and targets are achieved by maximizing direct retail revenues.
- Ensure the highest levels of customer service are achieved.
- Ensure the highest retail standards are developed and maintained.
- Guide and develop a high-performance retail management team.
- Ensure Key Results Areas to be achieved.
- Achieve Retail revenue forecasts and budgeted revenue.
- Minimize stock and cash loss.
- Minimize staff absenteeism.
- Maximize Mystery Shops.
- Attend and conduct meetings.
- Ensure staff engagement and motivation.
- Perform any other related tasks, when needed to support the operations and the management team.
Required Qualifications (Education, Experience & Skills)
- Diploma in a business-related field or relevant career experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (Retail and unionized environment – an asset).
- Experience with motivating, coaching, and supporting team members.
- Ability to multitask and make decisions in a complex and fast paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, problem solving, people and time-management skills.
- Strong business acumen and in-depth understanding of KPIs for the retail industry.
- Lead by example in terms of presence, punctuality, open-spirit, attitude, professionalism, and personal appearance.
- Proven ability to partner and influence across diverse groups and experience levels.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, Mandarin is an asset.
