We are looking for a Chinese Marketer to join our team at our downtown Vancouver campus. We are dedicated to providing dynamic learning opportunities and cultural training for our learners from all over the world.
Title: Chinese Marketer
Working Hour: Full time Mon to Fri ( 7 hours per day)
Start date: as soon as possible
Job Purpose
To recruit, advise and counsel international students from China at ESL school.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
– General administrative works; Create student files, prepare for intake day and graduation day
– Research and report to the director regarding external marketing opportunities
– Manage local and overseas agencies
– Provide detailed counseling to international students considering their cultural backgrounds, religious backgrounds, and level of English
– Prepare necessary documents for students to continue their studies at SGIC
– Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations
– Confer with agencies, teachers, other counselors, and administrators to resolve students’ behavioral, academic, and other problems
– Enforce all administration policies and rules governing students
– Collaborate with academic staff and administrators in the development, evaluation, and revision of school programs
– Employee shall act with integrity and cooperate with other employees
Requirements
1. Must be fluent in both Chinese and English
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills
3. Highly organized and flexible
4. Working knowledge of email, scheduling, spreadsheets, and presentation software
5. Valid working permit
6. Able to go on a business trip to China (1~2 times per year)
Experience:
- Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
