Eligible candidates must reside in the Greater Vancouver, BC area.
Reporting directly into the National Education Manager of Canada, the Clinical Educator will support AlumierMD’s Education and Sales departments through training of branded educational materials to account partners and internal employees, in support of organizational strategic objectives.
Position Summary:
As a brand ambassador for AlumierMD, the Clinical Educator will be responsible for communicating AlumierMD core values, while strengthening brand awareness through education. The Clinical Educator will work cohesively and collaboratively with the domestic Education team to further develop and strengthen the Canadian market and optimize educational opportunities.
Essential Functions of this Position:
- Provide on-going clinical education to AlumierMD partners regionally in support of organizational objectives.
- Partner with the regional Account Manager regularly to build excellent customer relationships, identify educational planning, and sales opportunities.
- Present education material both in-person and virtually to small and/or larger groups.
- Communicate, provide feedback and reporting to the Education and Sales departments, and to Management.
- Collaborate with the domestic Education team to further develop and support the Canadian market and optimize educational opportunities.
- Ability to travel in the assigned territory at least 70-80% (includes some overnight/weekend travel) is required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Live in the greater Vancouver area and service the BC region
- Current Aesthetician, Medical Aesthetician or Nurse designation, in good standing
- 5+ years professional skincare industry experience (medical aesthetics or dermatology preferred)
- Minimum 2+ years training experience (preferred); experience in sales (an asset)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Team player
- Self-motivated
- Mandarin speaking (an asset, but not required)
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the domestic Education team to support the Canadian market and optimize educational opportunities.
- Drive and support the broad adoption of AlumierMD Academy across the Canadian account base.
- Provide clinical education to account partners regionally to support the organization’s strategic goals.
- Partner with accounts and the regional Account Manager regularly to build excellent customer relationships, identify educational planning, and sales opportunities.
- Provide AlumierMD Professional treatments to prospective and existing accounts.
- Prepare and conduct PowerPoint presentations and virtual training for both small and/or large audiences.
- Support education projects and metric reporting development, as assigned.
- Support improvement in key metrics for AlumierMD, which include but are not limited to: reorder value and reorder rate, reduction in account degradation, and increase in LTV of all partners.
- Provide support for tradeshows, events, or other initiatives that promote or increase AlumierMD brand awareness.
- Maintain consistency and adhere to approval processes, to ensure quality assurance across documents and presentation material on behalf of AlumierMD Canada.
- Ensure that AlumierMD Branding Guidelines and Product Claims Guide are strictly adhered to.
- Build and maintain personal knowledge to improve the overall content of educational materials.
- Keep abreast of all regulatory information and changes within Canada.
- Ability to travel at least 70-80% (includes some overnight/weekend travel) is required.
- Ability to support a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and evenings, when required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the AlumierMD Global Education team and its initiatives, when required.
- Provide secondary support for coaching and mentoring of internal employee onboarding & professional development to support the organization’s objectives.
- Support and engage with our AlumierMD digital communities to strengthen our brand’s online presence and visibility.
- Contribute as and where needed for the requirements of the business.
